Ordering Your Custom Handbag
SIZE: Sometimes off-the-shelf purses seem either a tad too small or a bit too large. You can specify exactly the size that is right for you.
PATTERN/MODEL: If I haven’t already made the designer purse you want, we can work together to design it for you.
DECORATION: The possibilities are endless – a colorful floral design, butterflies, or a more traditional stamped design such as a basket weave. Even personalize it with your name or initials. Within limits I can even carve a scene – perhaps something with wildlife. Or you can just leave it smooth and natural.
COLOR: There are 16 different colors of dyes to make a purse compliment any ensemble. With full-color floral designs it is usually better to leave the background natural. Whether you choose a design or want it plain and natural, you can choose from 6 shades of antiquing. If you select a stamped design, there are 12 shades of high-lighting stains to enhance the textured look.
LINING: Gold or tan sueded lining is the standard, but there are 9 different colors of velvet suede that can be used for this purpose.
POCKETS: Inside or outside, do you need pockets? Big or little, open or closed, snapped, zippered, or secured with Velcro, the choice of closure is yours.
ASSEMBLY: Where 2 pieces of leather join you can select stitched or laced. For either method, you can decide on matching or contrasting thread or lacing.
HANDLE: You can select a short utility handle, or an over-the-shoulder strap sized just for you, or convertible to either one. Or maybe you would prefer adjustable with either snaps or a buckle. What works best for you is what we do.
CLOSURE: You have your choice of 10 different bag clasps, a snap or a zipper.
About Color
DYES are just what the name says. They color the leather. They are mostly used to color floral and other designs. They can be used to color an entire project, sometimes with startling results.
HI LITE color stains have particles that settle into any depression. These bring out carved and stamped designs.
ANTIQUES: Like the Hi Lite stains these bring out stamped or carved designs but they also give the leather an old, or antique appearance. They turn a new item into and instant heirloom.

Most custom pieces take 2-5 days to complete, and cost $150 to $450.Cost is dependent on accessory specifications and details, and will be discussed after your initial email.
I require a $50 deposit upon confirmation of your order, with rest of payment made just before I send out your item. Payment can be made via snail mail or Paypal (preferred).
